School of Basic Studies

A. Applicants who do not fulfil the requisite requirement for entry into the University shall be
provided with the opportunity to apply to the School of Basic Studies to pursue foundational
programs leading to the award of School of Basic Studies certificate (SBS).

B. Sports talented secondary school students may be admitted into the school of Basic Studies
to continue their secondary education and have the opportunity of being trained in their
preferred sport leading to the award of school leaving certificates (SLC).
